FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA is a creative platform for Nepali diasporic youth to find and fostertheir talents. An opportune platform allowing the youth to showcase and hone their artistic abilities was much needed. Especially during the ANA conventions, the tradition of sports and cultural program were the only two outlets for the youth to express. In July 2008 during ANA convention in July 2008 at Baltimore. ,' ANA Fashion Extravaganz'a was born to fulfill this need. The show brought together many art enthusiasts from Nepal and different states in the US: models, actors, musicians, photographers, videographers, graphics artists, DJs, choreographers and event organizers. Creativity at Work! The motif was “A Week in a Nepali’s Life.” For the first time in North America’s history, the Nepali youth paraded Nepalipan through their taste in art, fashion and glamour. The show depicted that despite what we wear, we stay close to our core Nepali values. The first Mr. Vogue ANA 2008 and Ms. Vogue ANA 2008 were also proclaimed. And the trend followed successfully for the second time in ANA convention 2009. Fashion for Nepal continues to strive to bring together the energy and excitement of the creative youth. Currently, we are working towards ANA Fashion 2011. We are also considering prospects of organizing other similar programs and events.

ANA FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA 2011

ANA Fashion Extravaganza is a terrific manifesto for the Nepali youth to reveal their talents by exuberating confidence, stage presence and individuality. Widely known for its attractiveness among youths through the tradition of sports and cultural programs, ANA conventions have been looked upon as one of the most anticipated events every year. However, the year 2008 marked the point during which the demand of such an event which targeted the "youth" was realized in order to add more dimension to the assortment of shows in the ANA conventions.

ANA Fashion Extravaganza has been fulfilling its goal by reaching out to more audience and allowing them to see the team's best work at a single time, in a single place. With the passion to reflect innovation, creativity, and imagination, ANA Fashion Extravaganza made a debut in July 2008 at Baltimore. ANA Fashion Extravaganza is more than just clothes on the models…It is about the "theatrics" of it all, the show itself. After three years of expertise in the respective arena, ANA Fashion Extravaganza continues to carry its legacy with great zeal, novelty, originality and enthusiasm.

Our very own versatile and inspired designer Ms. Pratikshya Shrestha has been demonstrating her designing excellence by reflecting marvelous clothing outfits for the past two years. This year, we will have three rounds, one of which will reflect the theme of "VISIT NEPAL 2011" The styles that are being modeled will relate to reflect the array of richness, splendor and diversity of ethnicities in Nepal. In order to signify Nepal as the melting pot of many races and tribes, the mesmerizing models' apparel will be suggesting different cultures like Newars, Gurungs, Sherpas, Thakalis and many more.Highly Motivated in "bringing the talent out of the shadow" of the interested candidates, ANA Fashion Extravaganza 2011 is solely dedicated in providing the youth an incredible prospect and a chance to bring out the best in them.

So, Ladies and gentlemen, please be geared up to witness yet another exhilarating extravaganza of Fashion and glamour……. Continuing the legacy for the very fourth year, Ladies and Gentlemen, may we please take this pleasure to present you "ANA Fashion Extravaganza 2011" with the slogan of "Bringing your talent out of the shadow".
